I love Debbie Bliss knitting designs. They are so classic. They also look (to me anyway) to be so time consuming--very small needles. So I flip through the books and think about the most gorgeous projects and then look for those that call for something close to worsted weight yarn!
So here it is, my first Debbie Bliss project: a little white bolero for Audrey. I thought this would b ethe perfect thing to layer over dresses this spring and summer. I am pleased with the way it turned out--pretty even stitches.
It did turn out a bit big however, and I even measured my gauge (into the project of course--no gauge sample). It may be that her sizing is a bit bigger. No biggee--Audrey will be able to wear it longer.
