DC Metro Mommy is a great resource for savvy moms in the District and beyond. In addition to featuring the top 10 things to do with kids in D.C., they post about health, food, classes, home services, and more. They also have a section devoted to style and design, called Design Bug, which ran a story on the closet remodels I did in my girls' rooms (who knew closets could be fabulous? It's true!).
Today they posted an interview with me. I was surprised and excited when they asked if I'd participate in their interview series. I haven't done an interview since my dot-com PR days and the subject was much different then (B2B ecommerce and other buzz words)! DC Metro Mommy asked some great questions about my design style and inspiration, how I find the time to create and my new role as a SAHM. If you're curious you can read the full interview here. The Q&A made me think I really need to get around to creating an "About" page... I'll add it to the list!
ahhh... add it to my list, too! Congrats on the interview, off to check it out now.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the interview. I will go check it out. I love about pages. They are such a wonderful element to a blog.
ReplyDeleteAmazing interview. I loved it!
ReplyDeleteGreat interview, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteLoved the interview! And I feel so much better hearing that you do most of your creating after the kids are in bed--I have wondered before when you find the time to make these lovely things! I think my problem is that I just collapse after my 3 are in bed and veg in front of the TV...so my projects are long neglected right now...but you are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSo cool to be recognized. Good for you Anneliese, congrats!
ReplyDeleteI love your classic style and I could not agree more that a closet with a few classics is better than a closet chock-full of this and that.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a beautiful blog! I have given you an award. I hope you will stop by and accept it.

Loved the interview. So great to be recognised for your work and the inspiration you are to many. Would love an about page!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your website, especially the Luxe Lovey and other baby things. I have a question. Did I not see a necklace a month ago--it was fabric covered beads and tied in the back.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Kay
Thanks everyone! I will work on that About page...!
ReplyDelete@Kay: I haven't done a necklace but I know the kind you are talking about. Hope you can find the tute--it sounds cute!
